Orchestra

The orchestra, directed by Richard Stocker, is pictured here as seen in the 8th annual concert of March 11. They have played for various occasions throughout the year — assemblies, the annual concert, commencement, and the exchange concert which was held this year with Hamilton. During the first semester, the orchestra also toured junior highs in Springfield. Many of those who belonged to this group are now playing in the Springfield Symphony or have become individually famous. (Click on the image for a larger view in a new window)
