Linda Sue Zinkhon
Linda Sue Zinkhon, 67, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2008 in her residence.
She was born on November 12, 1940 in Springfield, the daughter of George and Hazel (Allen) Hines.
She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, Ruth Circle, and worked as cashier for Monte Zinn/Jeff Wyler for twenty three years.
She is survived by her mother and step father, Hazel and Fred Sparks of Springfield, four children and their spouses: William and Pat Zinkhon of New Carlisle; Peggy and Steve Loeffler of Springfield; Kelly and Linda Zinkhon of New Carlise; and Thomas Zinkhon and his fiancé Teresa Silvers of Springfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Frances Hines of Springfield; nine grandchildren: Billy, Levi, Wayne, Jacob, Logan, Jackie, Jessie, Jennifer, and Nicole, many cousins, and her lunch partner, Eleanor Youngs.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, William Richard Zinkhon.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 3-6 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Central United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery.
