Douglas Keith Yeater, 55, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2009 in his residence.

He was born on September 12, 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of Bernard E. and Elaine (Davis) Yeater.

He enjoyed computer programming, but particularly everything about movies.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Jeanine (Strella) Yeater of Springfield, son, Thomas Bernard Yeater of Springfield, two sisters, Sandy Robbins of Dayton, and Marie Yeater of Springfield, one aunt, one uncle, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
