Catherine M. Yowler


Catherine M. Yowler, 95, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012. She was born March 20, 1916 the daughter of the late John H. and Maude B. (Ashbaugh) Miller.

Catherine was a life-long resident of the New Carlisle area. Besides being a farmer's wife and homemaker, she worked at Belle Manor Care Center as a nurse's aide for many years.

She loved gardening, flowers, and her pets.

Catherine is survived by sons, John W. (Marilyn) Yowler Sr., Jerry L. (Kathleen) Yowler; daughter, Bonita J. Peters, of New Carlisle; grandchildren, John Jr., Laura Fulton, Jody Michael (Janice), Jan Michele (Todd) Hannan; Jeremy ( Darcy), Amanda (Josh) DeKeyser; Kirsten (Kenneth) Davis, Douglas (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Jaime, Jordan; Ben, Kathryn, Rebecca; Michael, Brendan, Kristen; Seth, Sarah, Matthew; Caden; Jimmy, Kenny, Dalton, Samuel; Lauryn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dale W. Yowler and sister, Anna L. (Robert) Zeller.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 AM - 12 PM, on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio, service following with Rev. Douglas Thompson, of the South Charleston United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the New Carlisle Cemetery.
