Philip A. Walker


Philip A. Walker, 47, a lifetime resident of Springfield died Saturday, January 24, 2009 in Community Hospital. He was born in Springfield August 8, 1961 the son of Arlen E. and Rose Marie (Garrett) Walker.

Philip was a 1979 graduate of North High School and had worked for Springfield Impregnators and Springfield Metropolitan Housing.

He is survived by his daughter Amanda L. "Mandi" Walker-Stephenson; his son Philip L. "Lucas" Walker; brother and sister-in-law Donald and Linda Walker; sister and brother-in-law Teresa "Terri" and Douglas Fairchild; his former wife Ronda Walker; two granddaughters Rae Ann "Ranie" and Chenoa "No-No" all of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.

,p> He was preceded in death by his parents and three uncles.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 1-2 PM. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
