Naomi Racheal Whitt


Naomi Racheal Whitt, 77, of Springfield died Friday, September 19, 2008 in Dayspring Care Center. She was born July 6, 1931 in South Charleston the daughter of Emmett and Oleva (Wood) Massie.

Mrs. Whitt was a graduate of Olive Branch High School and retired as an LPN from the Ohio Masonic Home with 26 years service. She enjoyed reading and was dedicated to the raising of her grandson.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Allen and Dianna Whitt of Orlando, Florida, and Daniel Whitt; one sister Joyce Knox; one brother and sister-in-law William and Louise Massie; one grandson Dillon Whitt, all of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Delmar Whitt in 2007; a daughter Cindy Whitt and a sister Wilma Dobson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 PM. in Ferncliff Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Visitation will be in the chapel for 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family is being served by RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.
