Justin "Mickel Michael" Washburn


Justin "Mickel Michael" Washburn, 26, of Springfield. God took our angel on January 31, 2008 in Springfield.

Justin was born March 13, 1981 in Springfield to John and Claudia Washburn.

Justin was exceptionally loving and devoted husband, son and especially as a father. He was a 1999 graduate of Kenton Ridge High School. He has been an employee of the Kroger Corporation since 1998, where he was recently promoted to Human relations Coordinator. Justin was currently earning his degree in Business Administration through the alliance program at Clark State and Franklin University. Justin was dearly loved by everyone who knew him and he was someone who made you proud just to be his friend. Most would say that he had a ginormous heart.

Justin is survived by his parents, his loving wife, Christina (Cogar) Washburn, daughter, "daddy's girl", Emily R. Washburn, she is his hero, the only one who could make him smile even when he did not want to, a twin brother, Jason "Bubby" Washburn of Springfield, maternal grandparents, Donald and Dolores Elliott, parents-in-law, Jack and Dianne Cogar, brother-in-law, Justin and Jodi Cogar, extended family; Jim and Karen Ream, Mark and Mathew Ream, numerous loving and caring uncles, aunts, cousins, loving neighbors, co-workers, and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Washburn.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 7 in Southgate Baptist Church, 2111 South Center Blvd, Springfield. The burial will follow the service in Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield. Family and friends may visit 5-8 PM Wednesday in Adkins Funeral Home, 7055 Dayton-Springfield Road, Enon.
