Frances M. Workman

Frances M. Workman, age 83, passed away Tuesday July 17, 2007 in Villa of Springfield. Born to the late Ora and Zola (Dameron) Murphy on November 12, 1923 in Samantha, OH. She was the youngest of eleven children.

Frances and Athel Workman were wed in June of 1941; after 50 years of marriage, Athel passed away. She played the Piano for over twenty years at the Beacon St. Church of Christ in Christian Union. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife who always put others first.

She is survived by; son, Charles (Karen) Workman of Mechanicsburg, OH; grandchildren, Regina (Andy) Bush of Winterhaven, FL, Charles Leon Workman of Kansas City MO, Jodi Compton of Mechanicsburg, OH, Brandee (Craig) Bates of Springfield, OH; ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Edith Holbrook of Hillsboro, OH, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-n-law, Beatrice Graham of Springfield, OH.

Preceded in death; son, Jack Lee Workman and nine siblings.

Friends may call 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, July 20, 2007 in the JACKSON LYTLE & WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 2425 N. Limestone St., where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 21, 2007 with Pastor Joe Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
