Erith Fern Wright


Erith Fern Wright, 75, of Springfield passed away Monday, January 7, 2008 in Springfield.

She was born April 14, 1932 in Beattyville, Kentucky to the late William and Lucinda Carroll.

Fern was the owner of Fern Wright Realty that she turned into Century 21 and had been working at Wright Pat Gem City Realty in the recent past. She also was a contractor through out most of her life.

Fern is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Pinson of Springfield, five sons; William Wright, Rondall Wright, Randallo Wright, Tony Risner and Bruce Wright all of Springfield, a brother, Lowell Carroll, twelve grandchildren; Ashley, Bethany, Caylee, Stacie, Justin, Crystal, Wendy, Toyzan, Jason, Abram, Dink, and Dana, five great-grandchildren, Antoinette, Mariah, Adrian Jr., Rebecca, and Ayla, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne Wright, whom she was married to for 45 years, and siblings; Ocie Carroll, Jimmy Carroll, Levada Adkins, Ernie Sloan, Eva Sloan and Earl Sloan.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Friday, January 11, 2008 in Adkins Funeral Home, 7055 Dayton- Springfield Road, Enon, with pastor Jeff Mohr officiating. Burial will follow the service in Enon Cemetery, Enon. Family and friends may visit 5-8pm Thursday in the funeral home.
