Doris June Woolweaver

Doris June Woolweaver, 61, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2008 in her residence, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on November 14, 1946 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Harold J. and Rose L. (Martin) Woolweaver.

Doris retired on December 1, 2006 from Ohio Edison (First Energy) after over forty years of service.

She is survived by her companion and best friend of twenty years, John H. Otstot of Springfield, one daughter, Dusty L. Jackson of Springfield, four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Jean and Jim Baker, Karen S. Wallace, Cookie and Rick Shinkle, and Jane and Ric Becraft all of Springfield; three grandchildren: April and Christy Evans, and Zachary Clouse, four great grandchildren: Tailar, Destynie, Chy' Lin, and Jeff, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by John's daughter, Lisa Otstot and her children, Amber, Preston, and Cody Lookabaugh.

Doris was preceded in death by her father.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 2-5 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Rick Clos officiating. Friends may also call one hour prior to the time of service. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Garden.
