Betty J. Wise
Betty J. Wise, 83, of Springfield, died at 1:40 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center.
She was born in Springfield on October 8, 1924 the daughter of Ernest and Lorrene (Fay) Oesterle.
She was a 1942 graduate of Springfield High School and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Betty devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth C.; four children and spouses, Sandra and John Freshour, Danny C. and Cheryl A. Wise, Patricia Birt all of Springfield and Linda and Darrell Lytle of Bonaire, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Craig, Erik, Megan, Jennifer, Alyson, Airrion, Brandon and Christian and five great grandchildren, Olivia, Korryn, Sydney, Sean and Nicholas.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest R. Oesterle.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday in Conroy Funeral Home with Pastor John Pollock officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or St. John's Lutheran Church.
