Viola Edith Thompson


Viola Edith Thompson, 89 of Naples, Florida, formerly of Springfield, died on Friday, November 23, 2007.

She was born on June 22, 1918 in Xenia, Ohio the daughter of Clarence and Edith Jones.

She is survived by a daughter, Harlene Wood of Springfield, two sons, Gary Douglas Thompson and Larry Lamar Thompson both of Naples, two sisters, Ruth Immel of Springfield and Vada Yoder of Florida, and one brother, Robert of Florida, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harland B. Thompson in 1988, grandson, Jeffery Lamar Vannatta in 1975, two sisters and two brothers.

Private services will be held on Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
