Thomas Lee Tackett


Thomas Lee Tackett, 58, of Fairborn, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2008.

He was born on July 4, 1950 in Bermuda the son of Tolliver and Natalie (Caldwell) Tackett.

He served our country in the United States Army having spent two tours in Vietnam, and one tour in Germany. Thom worked as a Service Manager for Graham Ford in Columbus for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger Tackett of Fairborn, his son Shannon Tackett of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; one daughter, Courtney Tackett of Beavercreek; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and George Nill of Mechanicsburg; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Rhonda Tackett of Winter Haven, Florida; brothers-in-law: David, Scott, Jerry, and Frank Stevens; sister-in-law, Jane Helton and several nieces and nephews.

Thom was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. Friends may call one hour prior to the time of service.

Private burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery.
