Patricia Ann Turner


Patricia Ann (Jackson) Turner, 69, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 12, 2008 following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer in Springfield Regional Medical Center, Fountain Ave Campus.

She was born in South Charleston, Ohio on August 5, 1938, the daughter of Woodrow W. and Laura F. (Swain) Jackson.

Patricia was a member of the International Pentecostal Church of Christ and retired as a social worker from the Clark County Job and Family Services. She also has won several blue ribbons at the Clark County Fair for her cooking and baking skills, and loved singing gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Patricia has left to cherish her memory, her mother, Laura F. Jackson; husband of 23 years, Charles E. Turner, Sr., whom she married August 17, 1984; four children Connie Wilson Zeigler, Charles, Jr., Jamie & Jason Turner, son in law Mike Zeigler, and daughter in law Tessa Turner; one sister Judith L. Stewart all of Springfield; seven grandchildren including one special grandson Michael Patrick Zeigler, who was the love of her life; brothers in law and sisters in law Shelby, Joan, Jim, Janet, Al, & Gordon; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Family and friend may call Sunday from 4-8 PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. A celebration of Patricia's life will be Monday at 1:00PM in the memorial home with Rev. Richard Blevins officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
