Patricia A. Toms


Patricia A. Toms, 82, a resident of the Ohio Masonic Home, died there at 2:15 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2008.

She was born in Springfield on September 11, 1926, the daughter of Charles and Sara (Caine) Hill. She retired from Mercy Medical Center after working many years in their Pharmacy and was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 1031.

Survivors include her two sons, Doug Toms and Rick Toms both of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Jackie, Natalie, Missy, Cody, Shane, Zach, Sarah and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack in 1991 and her son, Chris in 1999.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with a V.F.W. service at 6:30 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor John Pollock officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to V.F.W. Post 1031.
