Patricia E. Thompson


Patricia E. Thompson, 76, of Springfield, departed January 6, 2009 to be reunited with her first born daughter, Gayla Anne McNeil. She was born January 28, 1932 in Springfield, OH to Robert and Helen (Bolger) Schuster.

Patricia was employed as a waitress for Perkins Restaurants for 17 years. She then resided in Ft. Myers, FL for 15 years before returning to Springfield. She was a Catholic Central High School graduate.

Survivors include 3 children, Colleen A. (Dean) Fenton, Bradley (Berta) McNeil, Springfield and Tammy (Mike) Abendroth of Illinois; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas (Jackie) Schuster, Huber Heights, OH; a nephew, Rob (Ericha) Schuster; and an aunt, Marjorie Fair.

Her first husband, Joseph A. NcNeil, preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Calvary Cemetery with Fr. Dennis Caylor officiating.

Memorial donations can be made to the Catholic Central High School Foundation. Conroy Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
