Patricia Lou Thiem
Patricia Lou Thiem, beloved mother, daughter, sister and grand mother, a resident of Springfield, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 at her son's home in Mead, Colorado after an extended illness.
She was born in Springfield, Ohio on May 9, 1929 the daughter of Carl and Susan (Naikus) Thiem .
Pat graduated from Enon High School and later attended Wittenberg University. Before retiring, she was the owner and director of Columbia House Residential Facility. As a talented musician and vocalist, she was a member and past president of the Kettering Banjo Society, performing at many events in in Springfield and Dayton area.
She is survived by her son Jeff Parish, grand daughter Kaelyn Parish of Mead, Colorado; mother Susan Thiem; sister Lois Baker and brother Carl E. (Sonny) Thiem all of Titusville, Florida; sister Linda Landress of Ocala, Florida; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Carl Thiem, sister Joyce Thiem and son Kurt Parish.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Major James Gingrich officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
