Martha J. Trempe


Martha J. Trempe, 87, of Springfield, died at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 in Villa Springfield. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on October 3, 1921 to Frank E. and Ruth (Marmion) Trempe, Sr..

She had worked as a registered nurse for Mercy Hospital for a number of years and later worked for Dr. Charles Fralick until her retirement. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church.

Survivors include her dear friend, Helen McWilliams, Springfield; sister-in-law, Dorothy Trempe, Springfield; one niece, Kathleen (Fred) Miller; three nephews, Michael (Maxine) Trempe, James (Joni) Trempe and Thomas E. (Erin) Trempe; 12 great nieces and nephews; one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank E. and a great nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in St. Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
