Marise (Grody) Treece, 49, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly. She was born May 13, 1959 in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Carl M. Grody and Mary Jane Legge.

Survivors include her grandmother, Goldie Stambach of Fairborn, mother Mary Jane Grody of Columbus; father, Carl M. (Joyce) Grody of Fairborn; daughter and son-in-law, Tavia and Sean Johnson of Springfield; son, Zachary Geis of Springfield; two sisters, Lisa Day of Clifton and Rhonda Grody of Columbus; two brothers, Warren (Linda) Grody of Grove City and Carl W. Grody of Worthington; three grandchildren, Sean, Terrell and Tierra Johnson; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday January 15, 2009 in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Josh T. Lively officiating.
