Julia Rose Tuvell
Julia Rose Tuvell, 83, of Tremont City, died Tuesday evening, December 9, 2008 in Springfield Regional Medical Center-High Street Campus.
She was born December 7, 1925 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of James W. and Ada M. (Dunlap) Kohn.
Mrs. Tuvell was a member of Tremont United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
Her survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Marian and Norman Caudill of North Hampton, Laura Martin of Troy, Dickie Lou and Everett Bradford of Waynesville; two sons, Charles J. Tuvell of Tremont City, Peter D. Tuvell of Douglasville, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Karl Swords of Montrose, Michigan; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Tuvell in 1997; two daughters, Barbara Ratliff and Kathie Fein; three sisters; three brothers; and son-in-law, Johnnie Martin.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Tremont United Methodist Church where the funeral service will be held Friday, December 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Walter Mock officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Tremont City.
The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
