William P. Sherrock


William P. Sherrock, 79, of Springfield died Monday, November 3, 2008 in Mercy St. John's Center. He was born January 16, 1929 in Springfield the son of Clyde and Ada (Morris) Sherrock.

Mr. Sherrock retired from Teledyne Ohiocast with thirty-four years service.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Kirkpatrick) Sherrock; three sons and two daughters-in-law Mike Sherrock, Roger C. and Lisa Sherrock, Gerry Steven and Karen Sherrock; three daughters and two sons-in-law April Boop, Cindy and James Dwyer, Kelly and Dan Fife; two brothers James and Dan Sherrock; one sister Pam Rife, all of Springfield; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Nettie Meade and Maxine Nichols; and one grandson Steven Sherrock.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM. in Lawrenceville Cemetery. The family is being served by RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community/Mercy Hospice or to the American Alzheimer's Association.
