Rena F. Studebaker


Rena F. Studebaker, 78, of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord peacefully in her home Saturday July 26, 2008. She was born January 8, 1930 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence and Rena Miller.

She was a member of Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren and Farm Bureau. Rena traveled extensively with her husband Carroll L. making many new friends with Don and Sandy Bedingfield (Don's Tours).

Rena is survived by her five sons, Douglas of North Manchester, Indiana, Michael (Cynthia) of Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania and Timothy (Gywneth), Stanley (Kelly Jean) and Curtis (Melissa) all of Springfield; a daughter, Shirley (Douglas) Erwin of Urbana; fifteen grandchildren, Alec Studebaker, Emily (Chris) Valentine, Melissa (Derek) Phillips, Matthew, Nicole and David Erwin, Jared, Jaime and Peter Studebaker, Joshua, Olivia and Austin Studebaker and Megan, Calli and Amy Studebaker; three great-grandchildren, Isaac Studebaker, Samantha Valentine and Madison Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of fifty-seven years, Carroll L. Studebaker; brother, Don Miller and sister, Virginia Cree.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Rena's funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren, 6562 Detrick-Jordan Pike with Pastor Tad Hobert, officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
