Ralph C. Stringfellow


Ralph C. Stringfellow, 61, of Springfield, passed away at 6:15 PM Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Community Hospital after several years of illness.

He was born March 18, 1947 in Springfield, the son of Carl Stringfellow and Lelah (Wagner) (Stringfellow ) Morrison. Mr. Stringfellow was retied from Wickham Piano Plate.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years; Helen (Palmer), a daughter; Sheri Stringfellow (Bobby Belew), a step daughter; Krystal Morris, a step son; John Hughes, three grandchildren; Echo and Ember Belew and Gayla Morris all of Springfield, one sister; Pamela (Bobby) Sparks of Grayson, Kentucky, three borthers; Daniel Stringfellow of Arlington, Texas, James Stringfellow of South Charleston, Steven (Penny) Stringfellow of Urbana, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son David Stringfellow, his parents and grandparents.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery.
