Ralph H. Stiers


Ralph H. Stiers, 96, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Sunday February 24, 2008.

He was born April 4, 1911 in Hamersville, Ohio the son of the late Robert & Dora Stiers.

He was raised at the Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, Ohio. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a F&AM Lodge 619, Springfield, Ohio. He retired in 1989 as the Clark County Treasurer.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Louise; two sons, Robert Stiers and friend Barbara Seigle of Sidney, Ohio, James & Shirley Stiers of McCormick, South Carolina; four grandchildren, David, Michael, Paul & Bill; two great grandchildren, Tori & Hunter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Harry & Joseph.

Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Fetter officiating.
