Norma E. Sultzbach


Norma E. (Hupp) Sultzbach, age 102, went home to be with her Lord and loved ones on December 21, 2007.

She was born September 25, 1905, in Tremont City, Ohio, and was a life resident of the Springfield area. She was a long time member of Central United Methodist Church, where her father in law, Rev. Charles Wesley Sultzbach, had served as minister many years ago. She was also a member of the Norris Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles W., in 1988, her parents, Worden and Carrie Hupp.

She is survived by her son, Don (Doloras) of North Canton, Ohio, her three grandchildren, Deborah (Donny) Hecker of El Lago, Texas, Sharon (Brian) Arnold of Stow, Ohio, and John Sultzbach (Marie) of Wake Forest, North Carolina, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME on Friday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Walter Mock officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Eaglewood Community Center, Woodland Manor Alzheimer's unit, and to her caring physician, Dr. Nha To.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Tremont City United Methodist Church, 98 N. Mulberry Street, Tremont City, Ohio 45373 or Central United Methodist Church, 102 W. High Street, Springfield, Ohio 44502.
