Marc Lewis Schlicher

Marc Lewis Schlicher, 58, of Springfield, Ohio died Friday afternoon with his family and a few close friends by his side at his home. His son, Jesse, was playing the guitar and the family was praising the Lord singing How Great Thou Art.

He was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 4, 1950. He graduated from Greenon High School in 1968, and from GMI in 1974.

He worked in Dayton, Ohio for GM and E.D.S. for 38 years. He married the love of his life, Donna (Hill), on March 25, 1978 in Kingsport, Tennessee. He supported his wife by rubbing her back and feet and being by her side day in and day out. They enjoyed movies, wrapping presents all year long, traveling around to see their kids and grandchildren, shopping, and so much more. Marc showed love to his children by cheering at sporting events, taking them to garage sales, picking out cars, being at his grandchildren's births, rockin at gigs, and planning Bible studies. Marc had a laugh that everyone knew was his! He blessed many young people by sharing Gods love when camping, doing missions projects, watching movies, and just hanging out. Marc left special memories in many peoples heart, and he will be missed more than words can express!
