Miriam L. Sauerbrun


Miriam L. Sauerbrun, 88, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Pathways Center for Alzheimer's Care at the Ohio Masonic Home.

Miriam was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, W. Russell Sauerbrun; parents, Herbert and Florence Reese; and sister, Juanita Cox.

She is survived by her son Kenneth and wife Barbara of Huber Heights; 2 grandchildren Kendra (Jay) Allen of New Carlisle and Derek (Melinda) Sauerbrun of Ashville, OH; 3 wonderful great-grandchildren, Cole, Katelyn, and Reese Sauerbrun of Ashville, OH.

Miriam was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Englewood Chapter, Englewood, FL. She was active in volunteer work while residing at the Ohio Masonic Home.

A memorial service will be held at the Ohio Masonic Home- Wooley Chapel, Springfield, on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Howard R. Benson officiating.

Remembrances in Miriam's honor may be made to the Springfield Masonic Community, Springfield, OH or Shriner's Hospital for Children in care of Antioch Temple, 107 East 1st St. Dayton, OH 45402.
