Leona Seybold


Leona Seybold, 75, of Springfield, passed away at 7:25 AM, Sunday, September 14, 2008 in Essex of Springfield. She was born April 27, 1933, the daughter of Carlton (Shorty) and Dorothy (Mayberry) Crawford.

Mrs. Seybold enjoyed watching wrestling and auto racing on the television.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter; Jessie ( Dan) King, two sons; William (Connie) Seybold and Rusty Seybold whom she lived with, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, one sister; Lucy Perry of Springfield, one brother; Lloyd Crawford of Kissimmee, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Seybold, her son Chuck and her brother Wiley.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday in the funeral home with pastor Kyle Helsel officiating. Burial will follow in Honeycreek Cemetery.
