John Stephen Schwarm
John Stephen Schwarm, 62, of Springfield, died Monday February 16, 2009 in his residence.
He was born June 6, 1946 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of Francis and Elosie (Wibel) Schwarm.
He retired from the Department of Natural Resources Buck Creek State Park after thirty-three years of service.
Survivors include his mother, wife Sandy (Fenwick) Schwarm; son, Shane Schwarm of Springfield; daughter and son-in-law, Shannan and Scott Elliott of Springfield and three grandchildren, Chloe, Nick and Max Elliott; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Janet and Dan Stickley of Westville, Mary and Larry Heaston of St. Paris, Anne Clark of Troy; brother and sister-in-law, David and Karen Schwarm of Rosewood, Ohio; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jean and Larry Straley, Jim and Connie Fenwick and Larry Fenwick all of Springfield; two aunts, Marge Schwarm and Mary Lou Schwarm.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday February 18, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Ferncliff Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
