Craig was also a wonderful uncle to his three beloved great-nieces, Tess, Gracie and Lucy Slanker.

Craig worked for many years as a chemist in the plating/surface finishing industry and was a past president of the Cincinnati Branch of AESF (American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society). Later in life, he followed his passion for writing and published a three book series titled, Hurry Home Elvis. More recently, he continued using his writing skills as an editor and paralegal for several lawyers.

Craig had a great sense of humor, a fun loving personality, and his own unique style. He was a lifelong Bengals fan and suffered through the ups and downs of their seasons, never failing in his love of the team! Family was extremely important to Craig and he rarely missed a family function. One of his favorite family events was the Studebaker Family Christmas where he brought gummy worms to share with the young and young at heart.

Craig was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend and he will be greatly missed by family and friends alike!

A graveside service will be held in Craig's memory on June 23rd, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Studebaker Cemetery in Tipp City, Ohio. The family was served by the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar and Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle
