Tommie Royster


Tommie Royster, 66, of New Carlisle, passed away Thursday December 25, 2008. He was born October 11, 1942 in Greenup County, Kentucky the son of Lee & Pearl (Lewis) Royster and his step father, Easom Royster.

He worked for ITW formerly Hobart Corp. for 36 years He was a hardworking, dependable, strong outdoorsman, and a spoiler of all grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Violet L. Royster; his girls, Teresa (Scott) Heckman of Fletcher, Ohio, Barbara (Michael) DeBurger of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lisa (Daron) Stevens of New Carlisle; nine grandchildren, Lacey, Lindsay, Thomas, Ashley, Rebecca, Tyler, Madison, Jenny & Tommy; five great grandchildren; a brother, Wesley (Willa) and four sisters, Bessie, Mary Ann, Nellie & Emmy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. Sunday December 28, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Honey Creek Cemetery.
