Earl T. Reno


Earl T. Reno, 76, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday evening, May 23, 2007.

He was born February 9, 1931 in Wyandotte, Michigan the son of Thomas and Maude (Hartrick) Reno.

Earl was retied from the D. T. and I. Railroad and was a loyal employee of the Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home for many years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving with the 508 Signal Corp during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include four children: David (Catherine) Reno, Milford, Connecticut, Michael Reno, Trenton, Michigan, Susan (Roger) Hayden, Pinckney, Michigan and Ann Marie (Christopher) Mauro, Lincoln Park, Michigan, close friend Diann Reno, step sons, Martin (Kathy) Compton and Michael Compton all of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Louise Buckius, a brother James L. Reno and a half brother Dewey Cicotte.

Friends may call in the Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home from 5 until 8 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
