Delmar C. Rice Jr.

Delmar C. Rice Jr., 47, of Springfield, passed away at 11:00 PM Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Community Hospital.

He was born December 14, 1960 in Springfield, the son of Delmar C. and Barbara (Hall) Rice Sr.

Delmar enjoyed shooting pool and had been employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his parents of Springfield, five children: Shannon (David) Temple, Celeste (Hershel) Baughman, Delmar C. ( Erica) Rice III, all of Springfield, Joshua Rice and Addison Rice, Florida, seven grandchildren; Trisha, Timothy, Caylyn, Kevin, Alexis, Hershel and Stone, one brother Danny (Sharon) Rice, Urbana, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
