R. J. Neace
R.J. Neace, 71, of Medway, Ohio passed away Saturday June 28, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 23, 1927 in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Joe & Norcey (Hicks) Neace.
He retired from the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ada; two sons, Danny Ray Neace of California, Darrell (Sharon) Neace of Virginia; two granddaughters, Sara & Taylor Neace; three sisters, Thelma Noble, Lola Osborne both of Louisville, Kentucky, Kathleen Copley of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Ray Neace of Jackson, Kentucky, Dexter Neace of Lexington, Kentucky; a host of other relatives and three special friends, Jim Brock, Jim Jones and Debbie Hill.
RJ was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be truly missed by his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Wireman and a sister, Laura Neace.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday July 1, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Junior Watts officiating. Burial will be in Medway Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
