Jane K. Nafz


Jane K. Nafz, of Springfield, died at 2:10 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2007 in her home.

She was born in Springfield, OH to Michael A. and Ann M. (O'Brien) Gallagher.

Jane was a former 50 years member of St. Mary Catholic Church and recently St. Bernard Catholic Church, a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society, Mercy Guild and volunteered many hours at Mercy Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Nafz with whom she resided; several nieces and nephews; and life long friend and cousin, Rose Martin. Her husband, Carl A. Nafz in 1999 and 2 brothers, Robert A. and John T. Gallagher, preceded her in death.

Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church with burial in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or Community Mercy Hospice.
