Ruth L. Maddux


Ruth L. Maddux, 89, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2009. She was born on August 13, 1919, daughter of Vernon and Rosa Kelly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Maddux; and son, Terry Maddux.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Marlene Maddux, Jerry and Ruthann Maddux, Vincent Maddux, and daughter-in-law, Sandy Maddux; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Bobby Berry and Monica and Tom Leffel; 9 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Ruth was a member of Faith Christian Center and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
