Paul Brown-Low Meadows


Paul Brown-Low Meadows Sr., 72, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008. He was born September 20, 1935 in Blackey, West Virginia the son of the late Areyes and Tennessee Meadows.

He was a member of the Eagles, Union Club, Machinists and VFW Post #1031 of Springfield. He was also a member of the Plaster and Masons National Union.

He is survived by his sister, Thelma Belcher of Roanoke, VA sons, Paul Meadows Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Springfield, OH and Mark E. Meadows and his wife Missy of Reynoldsburg, OH; grandchildren, Nicholas B. Meadows, Eric Johnson, Jessica Meadows, Paul Curtiss Cotrell and his wife Angela, Christopher Lee Cotrell, Timothy Aaron Cotrell, and Lisa Marie Cotrell; step-daughters, Billie J. Byrd and her husband Tommie of New Carlisle, Ohio, Pamela D. Burlile and her husband Richard L. Jr. of Medway, Ohio; sister-in-law, Hazel and her husband Duke Bruney; step-grandchildren, Richard J. Burlile and his wife Kary, Cindy M. Miller and her husband Christopher, and William Gene Wright; step great-grandchildren, Ashlee M. Wright and BrynnAnn Burlile; niece, Angela Susie Belcher, nephews, Dan and Bob Belcher; other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all his friends and neighbors, Dude and Dick.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Meadows.

A gathering of friends and family was held from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR AND FRALEY FUNERAL HOME in New Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior.

A memorial fishing tournament will be held at C.J. Brown Reservoir, date to be announced. All donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Paul B. Meadows Jr., 1132 Old Columbus Rd., Spfld., OH 45503.
