Paul R. McCrite
Paul R. McCrite, 57, of Springfield, died unexpectedly at 5:10 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2009, in the emergency room of Community Hospital. He was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on September 18, 1951, the son of Edward and Helen (Forehand) McCrite.
He worked for Kenosha Auto Transport and Active U.S.A. for more than 30 years. He was a retired Teamster, a member of the Retiree's Club and the Union Club. He enjoyed his family and being with his friends at the Retiree's Club and Union Club.
He is survived by his wife, Manuela M. "Mindy" (Pelfrey); two sons, Martin E. McCrite and Paul D. "Danny" McCrite and his fiancée, Marge Osborne; granddaughter, Mollie McCrite; two brothers and sister-in-law, Donald McCrite and Brian and Beth McCrite all of Springfield; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Rick Smith of South Charleston, Karen and Terry Schofield; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anneliese and Martin Pelfrey all of Springfield and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Daniel Stinger officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
