Nellie Miller


Nellie Miller, 95, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in the Ohio Masonic Home.

She was born on April 20, 1913 in Ulysses, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Ruth (Davis) Castle.

She is survived by five daughters and two sons-in-law: Nora Lee McCarty of Springfield; Pauline and Jim McNary of Urbana; Pearline Zalewa of California; Carolyn Miller of Springfield; and Ruth and John Tomkavich of New Jersey; four sons and daughters-in-law: John L. and Lois Miller of Springfield; Paul T. and Lelonie Miller of New York; William R. and Kay Miller of Mechanicsburg; and David R. and Janet Miller of Springfield; twenty-eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Haney Miller in 1982, daughter, Connie, and four brothers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
