Marjorie L. McCann


Marjorie L. McCann, 76, of Medway, Ohio passed away Monday, November 10, 2008. She was born November 26, 1931 in Medway, Ohio the daughter of the late Wayne & Marie (Schwartz) Rouch.

She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Church, Fairborn, Ohio. She retired from Miami Valley Special Education Center, Dayton, Ohio. Marjorie was an avid bowler, bingo player and Cincinnati Reds fan.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James; a daughter, Patricia L. and her husband Jim Gay of New Carlisle; a son, Robert of Virginia; two grandchildren, Robert Thomas & Eric and his wife Pam Thomas; step grandchildren, Jimmy & Emily Gay; a sister, June Gersbacher of Medway; four brothers, Dick and his wife, Fran Rouch, Jerry Rouch, Russ and his wife, Cis Rouch, Ronnie and his wife, Colleen Rouch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Don & Dale Rouch.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Mary Help of Christians Church, Fairborn with Father Charles L. Lang officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County ESC Handicapped Children's Fund, 4801 Springfield St., Dayton, Ohio 45431.
