Louis F. Mitchem


Louis F. Mitchem, 63, of Springfield, died Friday in the V.A. Medical Center, Dayton.

He was born in Springfield on July 13, 1944, the son of Louis F. and Betty (Smith) Mitchem.

He was a Vietnam veteran serving with the Marine Corps.

Survivors include five children, Josh, Eric, Chris, Steve and Angel Mitchem all of Springfield; two brothers, Richard Steele and Tom Mitchem, two sisters, Georgeanna Miller and Mary Perdue all of Springfield and six grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in Dayton National Cemetery. Burial will follow. Arrangements handled by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
