Jean Mabry


Jean Mabry, 73, of North Hampton, Ohio died peacefully at home on March 19, 2008.

She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

She was born on December 13, 1934 in East Liberty, Ohio to the late Victor Sharp and Clariet (Stratton) Wilgus.

Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by step-mother, Martha Sharp, step-father Willis Wilgus, sister and brother-in-law Marlene and (Ivan) Klinger.

Jean retired from A.O. Smith, Tipp City, where she was the Credit Union Manager for 15 years. She was also a long- time member of Asbury United Methodist Church, North Hampton, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gerald Mabry; daughters Debbie and (Bill) See, Centerburg, Cathy and (Doug) Wigton, New Philadelphia; Brother, Earnest Lee and (Elsie) Sharp, East Liberty; Sisters, Vicky Pinkerman, Johnstown, and Judy and (Darryl) Hughes, Grove City. Granddaughters; Jenelle See and (Josh Wickham); Joanna Skillings and (Brian Loney); Grandson, Chet Skillings and (Kaylee Jarvis); step-granddaughter, Cassie Wigton, special family member, Will Gentry and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Asbury Unite Methodist Church, the funeral service will follow with Pastor Marcia Rummel and Pastor Steve Hayes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Asbury Unite Methodist Church, Box 249, North Hampton, Ohio.

The family was served by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
