Gertrude E. Miller


Gertrude E. Miller, 77, entered into eternal rest, peacefully in her home at 3:15 PM Thursday July 3, 2008 of natural causes. She was surrounded by her loving family; son, Vernon (Patty) Knaggs.

She was born on the 26th day of July, 1930 in Springfield, OH.

She was a lifetime member of the Woman's Auxiliary of the VFW Post 1031; where her late husband, Charles E. Miller was a member also. She retired while working at the Mercy Hospital as a cook.

She is survived by her son, Vernon F. Knaggs, who was born in Springfield, OH and retired from the United States Army in 1986 as a (E-7) Sergeant First Class, and now resides in Charleston, S.C. since 1981; three grandchildren; two great grand children.

Gertrude attended Church at Bowlusville United Methodist. She will be buried beside her late husband, Charles E. Miller in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday July 7, 2008 in the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS Funeral Home, where service will be held 11AM Tuesday July 8, 2008 with Rev. Stephen P. Beck officiating.
