Elden L. Moore


Elden L. Moore, 92 of Xenia formerly of Springfield died Friday, March 27, 2009 in his residence. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 16, 1916, the son of Fred L. and Della I. (Lannon) Moore.

Elden retired from Globe Industries in Dayton with 32 years of service as an Inspector. He was also the owner of Moore Sweeper Repair from 1943 until 1991. One of his greatest loves was working in his garden.

Elden was preceded in death by his parents, wife Bertha L. Moore, and special friends Herbert C & Alice Early.

His survivors include special friends Herbert F. & Susan Early and family all of Xenia.

Services will be Thursday April 2, 2009 in the Chapel of Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield at 11:00 AM, where visitation will begin at 10:30 AM.

Services have been entrusted to the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
