Ronnie B. Longworth


Ronnie B. Longworth, 55, of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord at 11:20 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in his residence. He was born April 18, 1953 in Columbus, the son of Gillis Bruce and Bonnie Ardale (Day) Longworth.

Ronnie enjoyed fishing, karaoke and listening to Elvis. He had been employed at Fuel Systems.

Survivors include his loving wife; Rebecca (Self) Longworth, his mother; Bonnie Longworth, Wellston, six children; Kristy (Brian) Manning, Indiana, David Longworth, Wellston, Karen Longworth, Xenia, Adam Longworth, Urbana, Jenny (Isiac) Longworth, Wapakoneta, Tyler Longworth, at home, three step children; David Rust, at home, Destiny Rust (Christopher Boyer), Springfield, Leah Rust, Washington State, grandchildren; Shelby Hasting, Michael and Isiah Carver, Brianna Manning, Keyton Boyer, brothers and sisters; Vickie Longworth, Linda Longworth, Johnny Longworth, Mary Longworth all of Wellston, Larry Longworth, New Carlisle Franklin, Clark Longworth, Franklin, Frank Longworth, Miamisburg, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and best friends; John and Lisa Jones, Springfield.

He was preceded in death by his father and a dear uncle; Nelson Day.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Britton and Pastor Paul Nichol officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
