Patrick Scott Lewis


Patrick Scott Lewis, 44, of Springfield, died Saturday evening, July 12, 2008 in Essex of Springfield following several months of failing health.

He was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on March 17, 1964 the son of Ecklin and Reva (Collins) Lewis.

Scott was a graduate of Springfield North High School and Clark County JVS. He worked in the construction trades for many years. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Reva with whom he made his home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Roger Skaggs and Karen and Tim Johnston; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Paul Lewis and Mark and Paula Lewis, all of Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Chris Eaton.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Terry Sherrock; and a brother, Kevin Lewis.

Scott's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
