Michael L. LeValley


Michael L. LeValley, 38, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in Grant Medical Center, Columbus.

Mike was born in Springfield on February 7, 1970 the son of Edward and Christa (Scrade) LeValley.

He worked as a custom woodworker for Ted Bolle Millwork. He lived to ride and rode to live with his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

In addition to his parents of Urbana, Mike is survived by his wife, Jill R. (Rhoads) LeValley; three children, Samantha Lynn LeValley, Jeremy Michael LeValley, and Jesse J.C. LeValley, all of Springfield; four brothers, Timothy E. (Penny) LeValley of Urbana, Kevin R. (Amber) LeValley of South Charleston, Ernie LeValley of Florida, and Douglas LeValley of Springfield; a sister, Cheryl (Joe) Ellis of Florida; his former spouse, Christy Bayes of Springfield; Jill's parents, Steven and Linda Rhoads of DeGraff; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ernest and Mary LeValley and his beloved dog, Sassy.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Smith officiating.

Following the service, the family will receive friends at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

A private burial service will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the LeValley Children Education Fund, C/O Wright-Patt Credit Union, 1697 N. Bechtle Ave., Springfield, OH 45504.
