Linda Susan Lair


Linda Susan Lair, age 56, died at her home in New Carlisle, on Sunday, January 6, 2008, following a courageous battle with Lymphoma cancer. Although cancer may have defeated her physically, Linda's strong and unwavering faith in Christ has provided her with eternal victory.

She was born March 25, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, to James and Wilma Wiles.

Linda graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1969 and attended Wright State University and Sinclair Community College. On September 12, 1970, Linda married Kenneth E. Lair at the First United Methodist Church in New Carlisle.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kenneth; her daughter, Lori (Lair) Brown; her son and his wife, Bob and Debi Lair; one grandson, Max Lair; her parents, James and Wilma Wiles; two brothers, David Wiles and Jerry Wiles; two sisters, Nancy Bowser and Carol Roark; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends.

Linda had many hobbies and interests including making crafts, scrapbooking, painting, gardening, singing and playing the piano, science fiction (live long and prosper), and playing with and spoiling her grandson.

The memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 9th at the First United Methodist Church in New Carlisle, with Rev. Jeff Burdsall and Rev. Jerry Wiles officiating. The family would like to thank all of the staff of Hospice of Dayton for their help and support. The family was served by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR AND FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, OH.
