James Edward Lanum, Sr.

James "Jim" Edward Lanum, Sr. 48, of Springfield, passed away in the University of Cincinnati Hospital, August 22, 2007.

He was born February 10, 1959 in Springfield.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 17 years, Linda, his father Joe Lanum Sr., mother Ellen Lowe, three children: James Jr., Dusty and Jodi Lanum, stepson Allan (Melissa) Szabo, future grandson Aiden, three grandchildren, sisters: Merry Lanum, Becky (Les) Keeton, Jackie (Lamar) Baker, Donna (Paul) Rouch, brothers Joe Lanum, Greg (Kathy) Lanum, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Jim lived his life to the fullest, always making people laugh. Jim will be sadly missed by everyone but never forgotten.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
