Gloria Helen Luckenbaugh


Gloria Helen Luckenbaugh, 83, of New Carlisle, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009. She was born February 5, 1925 in Cumberland County, PA the daughter of the late Leslie Carlton & Helen Alice (Rockwell) Hall.

She was married to Chester A. Luckenbaugh on September 21, 1946. She was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in New Carlisle for over 30 years. Community activities included Meals on Wheels, Bethel Churches United, and the New Carlisle Community Choir.

She is survived by three daughters, Beth H. (Dave) McCann of Helena, MT, Trudy L. (Art) Blackmore of Troy, OH & Teri A. Luckenbaugh and Nick Wagman III of Seattle, WA; a son, Chester A. II (Karen) Luckenbaugh of New Carlisle, OH; grandchildren, Allen & Brian Blackmore, Micah Mabelitini, Levi Luckenbaugh, Leslie Redden & Abby McCann; two great grandsons, Liam and Gaius Mabelitini; a sister, Caroline Watson; brothers, David, Jack & Leslie Hall, Jr.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chester.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., January 31, 2009 in the St. Mark's Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camphill, Pennsylvania.
